never done yoga? can’t touch your toes? no problem. perfect for beginners and those seasoned yogis who want a little refresher. this 60 minute class is designed to break down basic poses with focus on details, alignment, transitions, and the breath; while instilling you with the comfort, confidence, strength and knowledge needed to explore and enjoy your yoga practice safely.
relax & restore yoga
in a world of over-work and over-stimulation, this class is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. props are used to support the body in postures, while gently stretching and strengthening the body. this class is appropriate for students of all levels, no yoga experience necessary.
yoga sculpt is a total body workout, designed to tone and sculpt every major muscle group. light free weights are added to the yoga sequence, creating resistance and intensifying each pose. it’s definitely helpful to have some yoga experience and understand the basic postures before adding in weights. free weights are optional, and modifications are provided to suit all levels, but we recommend beginners try our beginners class before sculpting.
align & refine
this is a workshop type class limited to 8 participants. each week we'll focus on a few poses (participants can request specific poses) really working on proper alignment. each participant will receive individual attention in each pose. this class is suitable for beginners who are just learning the poses, but is intended for all levels because no one has perfect alignment! yoga is a consistently evolving practice and our poses evolve with our changing bodies.
Urban Zen Integrative Therapy was inspired by Donna Karan and developed by Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman. This 75 minute class is designed to heal and restore. A certified Urban Zen Integrative Therapist will lead you through practices that include gentle movements, restorative yoga poses, aromatherapy, soothing breath awareness exercises, reiki and meditation. In a world of over-stimulation and over-work, these practices can offer you a meditative sanctuary. This class is open to all levels, no yoga experience necessary.
deep stretch this class is designed to instill deep calm and relaxation, a sense of balance and connectedness in the body and peace of mind - achieved by holding stretching poses for longer periods of time while focusing on the breath. this type of stretching enhances the natural range of motion in the joints, releasing muscle and deep layers of connective tissue, and creating more ease the body. all levels welcome.
is the umbrella term for all types of physical yoga. our hatha classes focus on alignment and breath while moving into, holding and exiting poses. this class is less challenging than our our levels vinyasa classes, giving you space to experience the poses with more stillness. this class is open to all levels.
vin to yin
the best of both worlds! this class will begin with vinyasa yoga - a warming and energy building practice moving through fluid sequences of poses linked with the breath. the second half of the class will focus on yin yoga - poses are held longer while focusing on the breath to releasing connective tissues and relaxing into the deepest layers of the body.
i have truly enjoyed burn! first time spinning and yoga and i love both! since i added burn to my other exercise routine, i have finally lost the lost 10lbs i have been struggling with, and i actually have guns! would definitely recommend!
